Description

This lovely villa is situated on a promontory overlooking the sea, cliffs and mountains of the northern coast of Mallorca and offers one of the most outstanding views to be found on the island. The coastline is rugged and dramatic, the sea is beautifully clear and. with two beaches to choose from, it is the perfect location to unwind.

The beautiful garden is laid over 2,708 sq.m. and is on three levels with a 17m. heated fresh water swimming pool and several lounge areas for either sunbathing or retiring to the shade of the covered outdoor seating terrace. Watching the sun setting from the terrace is a beautiful sight with the constantly changing colours transforming the face of the cliff (known as the Caval Bernat) – there’s no better place for early evening drinks. Weather permitting, all meals are taken outside on this covered terrace and there is also a further covered area at the end of the garden.

The beach is a two minute walk from the house and there are many restaurants and shops all within walking distance. This house is perfect for all ages, from granny to super-active teenagers to beach-loving toddlers, everyone is welcome!

Cala san Vicente is a peaceful, beach resort, particularly suitable for families and can easily be explored on foot. The villa is close to the historic town of Pollensa and 50 minutes from Palma International Airport.

The house itself has been decorated using local fabrics and furniture and can accommodate ten people (adults, plus children). One master double bedroom en suite with an adjoining single bedroom, three further double bedrooms all en suite and one single bedroom. There are 2 staff and a gardener, each of whom has worked for the family for many years and will give you a warm welcome.

Maria cooks breakfast and lunch and is in overall charge of the villa. Margarita does light shopping, cleans and does the laundry. She also waits at table. The staff arrive at 0915hrs each morning and leave the villa at 1545hrs each afternoon. Dinner is the responsibility of the client. They have Sunday off each week. Both speak English

The Pollensa Region:

The historic town of Pollensa is just 15 minutes away by car. Its attractions include the Cathedral, the Monastery of Puig Major, the Calvary steps and the Roman Bridge. There is also a bustling regular Sunday market as well as numerous restaurants catering for every budget.

Formentor, 45 minutes away by car, offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. The views from the lighthouse (accessible only by driving through the twisting roads of the national park) are stunning. You should also visit the world famous Hotel Formentor and its lovely gardens. The medieval monastery of Lluc is also nearby.

Local Activities:

Golf: There is a 9 hole golf course with luxurious clubhouse in Pollensa and a brand new 18 hole course in Alcudia
Water sports: Many types of boating and sailing activities as well as other water sports are catered for in Puerto Pollensa.
Tennis, riding: There is a tennis court adjacent to the villa at the nearby hotel Molins. There is also a riding school at Formentor.
Walking: From the villa, you can walk across the mountains to Puerto Pollensa in about 1 hour. For the more serious hiker, all day walks are available along the coast or in the area surrounding Puig Major. For small children, a walk in the nearby woods is ideal.
Painting: For the artistically minded, the different moods of the sea and cliffs offer a significant, varying challenge.
